It’s time for some bungalow love.
The bungalow, as an architectural style, doesn’t get enough respect in my humble opinion. They are cute, cozy and often compact. But not always.
This bungalow in Memphis Tennessee is a lot larger than it appears from the street.
This home has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms in a surprisingly spacious 2,200 square feet.
Built in 1928, this cutie-pie is currently listed for $250,000.
The home was completely gutted and renovated to perfection in the recent past. It features new electrical, plumbing, hot water heater, and HVAC.
Part of what makes this bungalow feel so spacious is the soaring vaulted ceiling in the master bedroom…
But it gets better – there is a finished attic upstairs…
Some small child is very lucky to have a room like this!
Look at this sweet little nook…
Out back, there is a gorgeous, lush yard and large deck:
Is it just me or do those stairs look a tad steep? I could see my kids FLYING down those!
What a great family house (except for those stairs).

Hope you had a great weekend!
We had our first hard freeze here in Colorado this weekend and that makes me very grumpy. I had to turn the heat on for the first time this season.
I HATE it when I have to turn on the heat in October! I always try to hold out until November.
The good news is that it’s time to stop watering the thirsty lawn!
