Both of my bathrooms are larger than this house. It measures in at 189 square feet, and unfortunately, it does not actually have a bathroom. But it does have a bedroom (area), kitchen (area) and living room (area).
This garden-shed sized cottage is located close to my old neighborhood in The Beaches area of Toronto, Canada.
And it is cute…
….and you do get somewhat of a yard.
But for $229,000?
The realtor is marketing 30 Hanson Street as a “Detached Gem, Cheaper Than A Condo”.
To sweeten the deal, it comes with all furnishings, and the seller has paid for Municipal water and sewage to be brought to the property line. The new owner just needs to take it to the next level and install a bathroom!
Not sure where proposed bathroom would fit in this house – it looks pretty darn tight.
But hey, you could live in a desirable area of Toronto, close to the subway line, near the beach, with your own little yard for half the price of an average Toronto condo ($430,000)!
Someone will snap this place up quickly. Mark my words, some urban, bat-shit House Crazy fool will come along and think this is the deal of the century. And tiny houses are all the rage lately, so not only would the buyer be hip and trendy, said buyer would be making far less of a carbon footprint in this little honey shack.[Thanks to Michael B. for telling me about this one!]
